My life is consumed with tech so obviously I loved this piece about African-American trailblazers in the tech industry. Special honor is given to #9 (a personal hero of my daughter).

 

I was introduced to Sweet Honey in the Rock at the Smithsonian Folklife Festival in Washington D.C. years ago. Since then it has become a family favorite. Here is a classic Reading Rainbow video featuring this group in honor of Black History Month.
