Parents have long heard the saying, “Enjoy your little ones while you can because time flies!” I can now apply that saying to blog writing as well. Time has flown by and here I sit typing two years into blogging The Blended Life. This year held rapid reader growth and a jump over to this new site, both of which leave me feeling abundantly grateful.
Thank you readers for your faithful readership, input, and feedback about the all importanct topics we care deeply about: Blended families, adoption, transracial adoption, race, racial identity, belonging, and all the crazy everyday life that dwells in the nooks and crannies of these themes. I appreciate you, your voice, and this path we are walking together.
Now, let’s celebrate! The good folks over at Thumb Arcade, a faithful sponsor of The Blended Life, have generously decided to award two readers of The Blended Life a mobile game of their choice. Thumb Arcade is a great place to discover Indie mobile games that are refreshingly unique and fun. There are many family games as well as grown up ones to play. Personally I like War of Words Apocalypse because I like word games but my kids are mildly obsessed with Dropple. So, go on, indulge in a new game on your phone! Here’s how to enter:
1. Visit ThumbArcade.com and peruse their site.
2. Choose a game that interests you.
3. Return here and leave a comment naming your game of choice by midnight PST on March 28th, 2013.
On Friday, March 29th, I will randomly select two lucky winners who will receive the games they selected on Thumb Arcade. If there is no response back from the winners by Tuesday, April 2nd, I will choose another winner – so check back to see if you won!
Now, I think I’ll go make some cake…
