Every Transracial adoptive parenting panel I have sat on has five key topics every parent in the room wants to discuss. Hair is always one of the five. While this may seem bizarre and even humorous to the non-Blended family, it is a struggle between parent and child that can touch upon self-esteem for both involved.

With that in mind, as I struggled with my daughter’s hair again this morning, I was reminded that hair is central to much of Blended family life. I then came upon this article and wanted to pass it along to all of you who may struggle with hair today! I appreciate Ellenore Angelidis’ honesty and her vulnerability in sharing her Blended story.
