With far too much happening on the web I curated a special list of articles and happenings just for Blended readers. Here’s a list of what I’m reading and thinking about this week.

This past fall my children were obsessed with Doc McStuffins. Obsessed. Last month during Black History Month Disney introduced viewers to three real live Doc McStuffins. You can meet these role models here and hear from each of them here.

I spent the last week looking at Photos of Children From Around the World With Their Most Prized Possessions, sharing them with my children and talking about cultural values.

This morning I read this article about travel which in turn reminded me of a post on travel I wrote last year, and also to immediately plan my next big trip! Travel does indeed make you smarter.

Easter is at my house with extended family this year so I’ve been thinking about the menu and table decor. A pet peeve of mine is when you sit down for a beautiful meal and realize you can’t see the person across the table because of the centerpiece. That’s why you’ll see this centerpiece at my table this Easter!

I enjoyed reading this post over on Adoptive Families about a little girl finding her voice. What do you think?

And, finally, boy did I get some feedback about this post I wrote at the end of February! Whew. But then, when I read The Good, Racist People this week, I knew I was not alone.
