With far too much happening on the web I curated a special list of articles and happenings just for Blended readers. Here’s a list of what I’m reading and thinking about this week.
Last week I discovered this amazing resource and can’t seem to stop perusing the digital shelves.
This week was Rosa Parks 100th birthday. I read this amazing piece about her life of courage.
Whether you were happy the Ravens won the Super Bowl or not, I think we can all agree to celebrate with Michael Oher on this wonderful achievement in his life.
Multicultural Kids Music Vids is an amazing find. You can search by country, language and region for the exact cultural music you are looking for!
Visit Land of Gazillion Adoptees and read how one Asian American Adoptee is standing up and fighting against racism – and you can join her!
And once again its Valentines Day. Each year we make our own Valentines day cards to give to friends and schoolmates. I loved these so much this year, but these cuties were shunned in order to design and make fox Valentines like these (by the seat of our pants I might add – wish me luck!).
Oh, and for those of you participating in our Dinners Around the World goal, I discovered this lovely little book called Monsoon Diary by Shoba Narayan. Its a sweet, funny memoir with recipes and is well worth a read this month while you are cooking Indian food for your family.
